The International Songwriting Competition (ISC) is reopening entries for its annual Screen Shot promotion running December 1-13, 2021.
This promotion is specifically looking for music in all styles and genres that is well-suited for placement in TV, film, ads, video games, and other licensing avenues.
Placement in projects like these requires a 'music license' which ensures copyrights owners are compensated for certain uses of their musical work. Music licensing has become one of the best ways for artists to get more exposure and more revenue for their music.
However, connecting with music professionals whose job is to locate and license music for upcoming projects can be incredibly difficult. Therefore, ISC designed
the Screen Shot promotion to help artists connect these dots.

SCREEN SHOT MENTORS HAVE INCLUDED
One overall Screen Shot winner will be selected by ISC and provided the opportunity to be mentored directly by a group of high-profile music supervisors who specialize in music placement. Additionally, the winner will receive a music promotional campaign from our friends at Play MPE.
Ten Screen Shot finalists will have their songs made available to over 1,000 industry licensing contacts who are looking for music for upcoming projects.
Past winners have secured licensing and publishing deals simply based on the connections made by entering this special promotion.

You are welcome to enter new songs or songs you've already entered into ISC 2021. Please be sure to choose a different category for any songs you have already entered.
All ISC categories are eligible for the Screen Shot promotion except Lyrics Only (i.e., music licensing requires music). Please note: You can still enter the Lyrics Ony category during the promotion, but your entries will not be considered for the Screen Shot promotion prizes.
Reminder, when you enter Screen Shot, your songs will also be entered into the overall 2021 competition and be eligible to share in over $225,000 in cash, prizes, recognition, and more.
