Help the TAXI staff please!

Want to Volunteer at the
2023 Road Rally?

Dear Rally Attendees,

Many of you have asked how you can help at this year's Road Rally, and we really appreciate that!

We’re going to need volunteers for Goody Bag Stuffing at the Westin on Wednesday, November 1st, for Truck Unloading on Thursday, November 2nd and Open Mic Stage Hands for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights!

Bag Stuffing will take place at NOON (sharp) on Wednesday, November 1st (Westchester room near the lobby on the 1st floor) at The Westin LAX Hotel on Century Blvd, and should take about three to four hours. Pizza or subs (and drinks) will be provided, plus free parking for all volunteers (who show up!). 

Open Mic Stage Hands work about 2 hours on one night moving mics, and plugging things in, and in return get a guaranteed slot to play that evening! You can even enjoy a frosty “beverage” while working ;-). We’re looking to fill more slots for Thursday – Saturday nights at the following times in the following rooms:

Concourse Ballroom (Jam Room):

• 8:30 pm - 10:00 pm
• 10:00 pm - 11:30 pm

The Theatre (Open Mic. Room):

• 8:30 pm - 10:00 pm
• 10:00 pm- 11:30 pm

Please respond to this email NO LATER THAN Monday, October 23rd by 6pm (PDT), and let us know which job(s) you’d like to volunteer for, and we'll get back to you to schedule it! Please respond quickly, as these slots tend to fill up fast, often well before the cut-off date and time.

Sunday afternoon at 4:00 pm (as the Rally begins to wind down), we’ll be loading the truck, and we would really appreciate your help with that as well. It goes very quickly, and most items are not very heavy. Please meet at the TAXI Registration Desk at 4pm PDT.
