It used to be that most Trailers used composers who could write for, conduct, and record live orchestras. Sample libraries have become so good that more and more companies are asking for Trailer instrumentals from composers like you, and they routinely get used in TV promos (which pay well), and movie trailers. They've got to be be really good, but they DO get used!
