Here's a winning strategy to get a lot of placements! We've got a request for Filipino and Cambodian Pop Songs for $3,000 placements. Not many people will even give that a second thought.
We know this new TV series has characters who would listen to music in those genres, and we strongly suspect that music will be used throughout the season. Most likely, the music supervisor will only find music in these genres by reaching out to record labels in those countries, which means there could be speed bumps in trying to license this genre!
If the supervisor could find a bunch of these songs from somebody who is easier to work with, you could potentially land a lot of placements throughout the season on a broadcast network TV show!!
Do your homework, and you just might become the king or queen of placements in this new TV series. You're welcome ;-)
