During the COVID-19 Lockdown!

Dear Passengers,

We hope you and your loved ones are doing well and staying healthy during this challenging time. It’s a little scary because we’re heading into uncharted territory, and that’s always disconcerting.

We’ll get through it, and maybe it will be a defining moment when humans all over the planet will come together for the greater good. That’s what I’m hoping for, but a trip to the grocery store last night was disappointing :-(

Oh well, hope springs eternal!

The TAXI staff and A&R people are going to be working remotely for some period of time. We were prepared, and my staff demonstrated we could do it effectively during the California fires in November of 2018. That was only for 4 days, but it was good practice.

Email memberservices@taxi.com. We will be checking emails during California business hours, 9am to 6pm Pacific Daylight Time. We think our response time will be normal, but please cut us some slack if it takes a bit longer to get back to you.

You Can Call Us, but…

We’re only going to have ONE remote phone line active from 9am to 6pm Pacific Daylight Time. Please try to reach us by email first, and try really hard to only call when absolutely necessary.

Also, if you do call, please understand that my staff has been instructed to keep calls on the short side so we can attend to other members who might also be calling.

BTW, we’ve got a nice stash of Industry Listings on hand, and more are coming in! We don’t anticipate any change in number or quality over the coming days. Yay, TAXI Staff!

Disc Makers CEO Tony Van Veen and I are going to do a show highlighting some really productive things musicians can do during this “stay-at-home” period. I’m really excited about what’s on my list so far! You can watch it here on Monday at 4pm Pacific time!
